There is nothing quite like moonlight sparkling off snow. Especially if the sky is clear and snow is falling. And that is another unique aspect of winter: snow can fall out of a seemingly clear sky. Anyway, the beauty in a monochromatic landscape is astonishing; black, spidery trees, stark blue shadows on white snow, twinkling stars, a beaming moon... Viewed from wandering, whispering skis. A "to do before I die" item checked off.
Very cool!
